Four of our men’s squad novices have been featured in the Oxford Mail after competing at the City of Oxford Royal Regatta this weekend. OARC had a great turnout this year for the 2014 British Rowing Masters Championships at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. The club entered crews in various 4+, 4x, 2x, and 1x categories, and many returned with medals for their efforts. Well done to all who raced!
OARC entered men’s and women’s crews in this year’s City of Oxford RC Bumps Races for coxed fours, located on our home turf of the Isis. Well done to both crews, and congratulations to the W4+ for their fantastic efforts, bumping three times and ending the day at the top of Division 2!
OARC made 13 entries in various sweep and sculling categories at this year’s Abingdon Rowing Club Spring Head. Well done to all who raced, with special congratulations to our members achieving the fastest times in W.NOV.1x, W.NOV.2x, W.IM2.1x, and W.IM2.4x.
