Oxford Academicals Rowing Club is a section of the University Club at the University of Oxford, UK.
Academicals provides a place for University staff and postgraduate students (both with and without college connections) to partake in rowing and sculling as a recreational and competitive sport throughout the year. Non-University members are also welcome; up to a fifth of the total Club membership may be drawn from outside the University.
The Club enables members to row at various commitment levels. Academicals crews enter national events, such as Head of the River and the Henley Regattas, and compete at local regattas, such as City of Oxford, Kingston, and Maidenhead. The squads also have members who choose to row socially or just to keep fit, without competing.
Our home is the Isis Boathouse, situated just upstream of Iffley Lock.
